IES provides 24 hour, seven days a week mental health community support services for individuals with behavioral and psychiatric disorders. These individuals’ experience severe and persistent mental illness causing symptoms and impairments that produce distress and disabilities and their normal day-to-day functioning such as self-care, employment, and social and interpersonal relationships.

Mental health skill building services consist of time limited training and support to assist individuals with achieving and maintaining stability through teaching and reinforcement of independent living skills, identifying and using other resources in the community, assistance with medication management, and monitoring of physical health and nutrition.
